These positions would both be perfect for a person who desires an exceptional work life balance, while at the same time holding a position that provides interesting challenges with job security and career advancement.
About the Role
The firm has strong property, commercial and local government-based law practice with overflow into other general practice legal areas. We have a loyal client base, and both positions will need to be client and outcome focused.
The positions will involve drafting and advising on residential, commercial and rural property sales and purchases, business contracts, leases, as well as the potential of advising local council regarding a wide variety of legal issues that they instruct us on from time to time. The positions will also involve succession planning work, including the drafting of basic and complex testamentary trust wills, acting in deceased estates and advising on family provision claims.
If you have experience in family law or criminal law, we would also welcome your application, as these are areas of the law we are seeking to expand into further.
While you will have the support of the current practitioners, you will have carriage of files from commencement to conclusion and be able to take ownership of the matters from the time of taking instructions, directly from the client, through to finalisation. You will be responsible for building ongoing trusting relationships with the clients and hopefully the ability to develop your own client base.
We take pride in providing the highest quality legal advice and services, while still providing our clients with value for money.
Remuneration
Your salary will be negotiated based on prior experience and qualifications and the ability to meet performance based benchmarks.
